Albuquerque Regional Sports Park is a brand new baseball complex located in sunny Albuquerque, New Mexico. This complex features five new synthetic turf baseball playing fields. By replacing the old, natural grass with new, artificial turf the complex was able help combat the previous water demand. “Being in the semi-arid southwest, water use is always an issue, and using synthetic turf virtually eliminates that water demand,” said Keith Reed, Acting Deputy Director for the ‎City of Albuquerque Department of Municipal Development. Shaw Sports Turf redesigned and engineered this turf specifically for safety and performance.
