Burnt Hickory Park is a sports park that is a member of the Paulding County Parks & Recreation. In 2019, Burnt Hickory Park underwent a huge renovation when Shaw Sports Turf installed approximatley 65,000 square feet of brand new Legion HP synthetic turf. This new artificial turf was said to elevate the experience for players. This field was also specifically designed with the special needs population in mind. Shaw Sports Turf's new installation meant decreased maintenance costs and increased durability which provides a better, safer alternative for Paulding County's Trailblazer baseball league.
