Kent State University, located in Kent, OH, is home to the Kent State Golden Flashes baseball team. The Golden Flashes compete at the NCAA Division I level and are members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) East Division. Kent State baseball was established in 1914, making it the university’s second-oldest athletic team after basketball. The Golden Flashes won their first Mid-American Conference title in 1964 and made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament that same year.
