Kent State University

Kent State University, located in Kent, OH, is home to the Kent State Golden Flashes baseball team. The Golden Flashes compete at the NCAA Division I level and are members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) East Division. Kent State baseball was established in 1914, making it the university’s second-oldest athletic team after basketball. The Golden Flashes won their first Mid-American Conference title in 1964 and made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament that same year. The Flashes have won: 14 Mid-American Conference (MAC) regular-season titles 11 MAC Tournament titles 12 MAC East Division titles 13 appearances in the NCAA Tournament In 2012, the Golden Flashes made their first appearance in the College World Series.
