Montana Tech is a public university located in Butte, MT. It was originally founded in 1900 as the Montana State School of Mines. Montana Tech’s athletic teams, known as the Orediggers, compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily within the Frontier Conference.
