Simmons College, established in 1899, is a private women-focused undergraduate college and a private co-educational graduate school in Boston, Massachusetts. Simmons College sponsors athletic teams in a variety of sports. The mascot is the Sharks, and the school colors are blue and yellow. They compete as members of NCAA Division III in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), the North Atlantic Conference (NAC), and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
