The University of California, Berkeley is a top ranking univerisity with over 43,000 students in attendance. The University is widely known for its beaming academics and research programs; however, it is also known for its paticipation in athletics as a NCAA Division I school. The University of California at Berkeley offers a wide varitey of sports including football, baseball, soccer, and rugby just to name a few. In fact, the Witter Rugby field underwent major renovations in 2019 when Shaw Sports Turf installed new, state-of-the art synthetic turf.
